Erith House

Erith House is an imposing Victorian building situated in Lower Erith Road, Wellswood, Torquay. It was first set up in 1854 in temporary accommodation by the same committee of the Nursing Home where Miss Florence Nightingale the founder of Nursing had her first nursing job.  Amongst the first residents were two patients sent by Miss Florence Nightingale from London.  Erith House still provides high quality care and service through a team of fully trained and experienced staff.
