Antonio got an extra special surprise on his birthday when he had the pleasure of meeting his great grand-nephew for the first time! They got on really well and even had something in common – they both like a snooze in the afternoon!
We celebrated with some magical musical performances. Opera singer Sushanna wowed us with her voice, and Amanda Truelove of The London Symphony Orchestra mesmerised us by playing the cello.
New volunteer Yasmin has really brightened our days, playing games with us and making us feel special. It’s always nice to have a fresh face to natter with. No one can beat Prudence at Connect 4!
We really appreciate our volunteers and all that they do. We are very grateful that they dedicate their time to come and see us. Debs has been running her Friday Hymns and Prayers group for many years and we all look forward to seeing her. We are especially happy as we can now accommodate her inside!
We recently enjoyed our very first Pizza Party and the pizza was delicious! We played music and chatted while we feasted. We will definitely be doing that again soon!
