There’s nothing better than getting stuck in a good book. The people who live here love to read and at our book club they share their opinions and stories. They love keeping the brain active with a daily word search and a twice weekly quiz.
It was Oscars all round when the ladies and gents took part in the drama activity and we discovered plenty of hidden talents. Acting out scenes from ‘Robin Hood’ and singing along to some of the songs really had us ‘Riding Through The Glen.’ The drama activity was provided to us by ‘Ladder To The Moon’ who have done many activities with us like the ‘Tour Of Oxford’, ‘Poetry Sharing’ and art classes.
Prayers and hymns have kept us going through these times and helped us to hold on to hope. We still have our monthly service over the iPad with Emmanuel Church, weekly ‘Prayers And Hymns with Debs’ and our fortnightly Keychange online services: ‘Praise, Prayer and Togetherness.’
January was a challenging month to say the least, but we look forward to February and have a lot of activities planned as the photo of the packed February planner shows.
