Proudly not for profit
Alde House was started in the 1920s, by a group of local Christians who were concerned there was no provision for the elderly in the village. We’re proud to continue serving the community today as part of Keychange, a Christian charity.
We care because that’s what we feel called to do. Creating caring communities is key to our identity, and every penny we make goes back into providing excellent care that’s as affordable as possible.
“I wouldn’t want my Mum to be anywhere else. The staff are the kindest, most hardworking, caring people. Alde House is spotless, with a warm, family environment. The living room just looks like a proper home. The food is all home cooked and amazing quality. My Mum’s health and well being has improved since she moved to Alde House. My sisters and I will be forever grateful.” – Received by Daughter of resident, November 2023

Meet the Team – Nicola Rayment, Manager at Alde House
“I’ve had over 20 years’ experience working in the care sector, in roles from night carer, senior carer and head of care. My proudest achievement is providing a loving, caring environment for those who live and work with us at Alde House. There is a true sense of being part of a family here. We’d love to show you around our home, but if you’re unable to visit in person, here is a virtual tour. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing do call us on 01494 813365 or email “
