Meet the Manager Pat Tuck
“Welcome to Cressingham House – if you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing do call me on 01516 394626 or email ”
To all the Staff at Cressingham,
A huge thank you for all you do for the residents at Cressingham, and in particular for my Mother. The last few months would have been more difficult for everyone if it wasn’t for all your care and attention. It is really appreciated by me and my family. Let’s hope the vaccine can be rolled out and help to get us all back to normal.
Many thanks again.
Cressingham House has 16 rooms. As the smallest Keychange care home, it is known for its homely feel.
Constructed in the 1930s, Cressingham House comprises 4 terraced houses which were joined together to form the current facility. The Home was originally founded by a group of local Christian women who bought just one of the properties. While discussing how they would find funds to purchase the house next door, the doorbell rang and there on the doorstep was a suitcase full of cash! The adjoining property was purchased but the donor remains a mystery to this day.
Whilst preserving the particular charm of 1930s terraced accommodation, Cressingham House has seen some significant recent refurbishments and developments. A new kitchen was installed in 2009. All the windows were renewed in uPVC with double glazing in 2010.
The rear courtyards are south-facing and contain raised flower beds.
Cressingham House is situated in New Brighton on the banks of the Mersey, from which Liverpool can be clearly seen. The waterfront at New Brighton is currently undergoing long-term major refurbishment to restore its Victorian charm.
