I would like to thank you and all the staff for the care you have shown Mum specifically through the Covid outbreak at Romans. It must have been very challenging to manage both staffing levels and quality of care to residents and I can only imagine the stress and anxiety for everyone. It’s good to know that you’re coming out the other side and please convey my gratitude to the staff at the Romans.
We are so grateful to the staff for the care he received and for keeping Covid out of the house for so long. I hope that 2021 is a better year for us all.
To All Staff at Romans,
Just a note to thank you all for looking after our Mother … We were especially pleased over her last few months when she grew more frail that she was not left in her room all day. We have seen photos of her enjoying lunch in the garden, with her cake on her 90th birthday and participating as best she could in a craft class.
To All the lovely staff,
Thank you so much for all the care and kindness you give to our Mum and all the other residents living there.
We just want you to know that you’re our “heroes”!!
We really appreciate how stressful and difficult this time must be for you all and yet you still stay smiling and cheerful!
Once again, a great big THANK YOU!! – April 2020
To all the Staff at Romans,
Just wanted to say a huge Thank You for all your continuous support, care and love to all the residents. Without you they just wouldn’t be the happy content people we know.
Thank you for putting our families’ care and health so highly in your priorities, especially at this unnerving time.
You’re all doing great, again, thank you! – March 2020
There are not enough words to say ‘thank you’ to you all for all you did for our Granny. She was stubborn through and through, even to the very end and you all gave her the best love, support and care we could have hoped for, especially in these tough times we’re going through. You became her family and that gave us such happiness when we couldn’t be there with her. Thank you all for your continual hard work and dedication.
“I hated leaving my own home but coming into this care home was not as bad as I had thought.
I cannot find any faults with the Romans care home.
Many years ago, I visited with my husband the local garden centre across the road from the Romans. When we noticed the care home I said to my husband that I would not mind going in there when the time comes.
I am happy with my care and everyone is so helpful”. (Resident)
Belated thanks to you all for the wonderful care you gave our Mother … We are very grateful for the kindness you showed her, helping her to keep her dignity … She especially loved the fact that Stephen would keep her updated with Brighton & Hove Albion results! … We will remember with warm affection the help you gave us in order to celebrate her 90th birthday – it was great.
We chose Romans over the other care homes we viewed as it felt like a home rather than an institution. The public spaces are bright and airy and the garden is lovely. The care staff are very kind and patient and visiting relatives are always made to feel welcome. The management team is equally impressive, being readily available to relatives and having a thorough knowledge of the individual residents and their needs. Efforts are made to provide the residents with activities and (pre-Coronavirus) regular outings, which my Dad enjoys. He is also complimentary about the food. We’re very happy with Romans and, most importantly, so is my Dad.
