“We wanted to keep you informed of the steps we are taking throughout Keychange Care Communities following the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) to ensure we are prepared for all scenarios.
The safety and wellbeing of all who live in our communities and those who support them is our number one priority. Based on the latest Government advice and guidelines we continue to review our approach to both care and infection control in all of our Keychange communities to ensure everyone is as safe and well as we can enable, including:
• Supporting our care and support teams with the latest factual information and guidance in relation to emerging need.
• Working effectively with all fellow professionals and suppliers in and around the community.
• Supporting our housekeeping and domestic teams in their high standard for cleanliness across our communities.
• Our Care communities remain open to essential visitors who have been advised on restrictions and will be assessed by the person leading the shift.

We remain in close contact with all of our leadership teams, Local Authorities and the Government Advice and Guidelines so we can prepare for all eventualities as the situation continues to evolve. We have a dedicated Quality Improvement Team (QIT) reviewing and sharing key points from rapidly changing guidance. All Keychange Communities have a 24/7 on-call option with a member of the local leadership team alongside a member of the QIT and senior central office leadership.
If you have any questions about our approach to this issue please contact your local Manager or our Keychange Central Office on 0207 633 0533.”
