Here at Romans we have received so many gifts, cards and expressions of kindness during lockdown. We wanted to respond and show our appreciation to those who have remembered us at this time, so we had a card-making session. Residents made cards to say thank you for gifts and thoughts from so many people.
An example of the lovely gifts we have received was this plate of amazing baking made for the staff at Romans by the grandson of a staff member.
All the staff in turn ordered these two huge beautiful bouquets as a surprise for the Manager and Deputy Manager to thank them for helping them all with sorting out their tests and everything through Covid19.
Some residents were able to have a family visit through the window during lockdown.
