VE Day seems so long ago but the memories we made that day will last a very long time. All the residents remember the war and it was great to reminisce about old times. Our neighbour Helen and her family gifted us with a fantastic hamper, and Hurlingham School in Putney made all of our residents beautiful cards.
Our beautiful garden is being improved all the time by our gardener Rachel and maintenance guys Alex and Cyrille, who do a fantastic job. Our garden is a place where the residents feel at one with nature.
Exercise is a daily part of our lives at Alexander House and our garden is the perfect gym. The mental health benefits of exercise are nearly endless.
Our ‘Current Affairs’ session with Debs over the Ipad is still a huge hit with our residents, keeping us informed of all the main stories from around the world. The residents love asking questions and are very curious about the weird, wonderful and interesting topics Debs has discovered.
