In the lead-up to Christmas we enjoyed several different activities including visits from local nursery and school children once again to sing Christmas songs to the residents, really enjoyed by everyone.
We also took 12 people living here out for a pre-Christmas lunch – again the first time in over 2 years. A good time was had by all.
We welcomed 6 new people to the community in the week leading up to Christmas.
Christmas Day was made all the more enjoyable by a visit from James, a friend of Shula’s (from Vibrant Communities) who was playing the role of “dame” in a panto in the local area. He visited us and spent time with us all, giving out presents, singing and generally having fun.
