Transforming lives through our housing communities

Bringing hope to people trapped in homelessness

Wayside Community, Reigate

A safe place for women in Surrey
to find hope and rebuild their lives.

Esther Community, Exeter

We empower young people in Devon to build their future.

Jane's story

“When I was in foster care, it was like I was always waiting to be moved onto another temporary place, but being at Wayside feels different. I’m around wonderful people who are great reflections of what you should be like. I’m excited for my future now.”

What we do:

Providing long-term support to break out of poverty

We provide safe, secure accommodation, with dedicated support always on hand. Our team helps residents navigate the complex world of housing and benefits, empowering them to develop skills to find work and support themselves. Together, we guide them on the path to finding a new home.

Real change takes time, and that’s why we’re with people for the long haul. Some are going through long court battles for custody of their child. Others are forced to wait months and even years to find a home.

When people become despondent, we’re there to pick them up and help them keep going.

No one should have to live on the streets,
or stay somewhere that isn’t safe

Why people love working at Keychange

“Keychange has allowed me to have a voice, valuing my opinions and looking after my welfare”

I have matured professionally and personally.

As a manager, I’ve been encouraged to upskill and progress within my role.I have always enjoyed my time working at Keychange, even during the tough times, as I have been supported and valued.

As a Christian myself, I have benefited from the values of the organisation, and it has been a great experience for me to work here.
