Our vision, faith basis, mission and aims

Our vision:
Every person has the fullness of life
through the unconditional love of a supportive community.

Community is at the heart

of everything Keychange does

Opening doors
We help people access communities and live life to the full.
Providing the ‘key’
We help people access communities and live life to the full.
People, not profit
We do it because we care about people, not profit.
Dignity and worth
Everyone deserves to feel safe, secure and valued.
Love of Christ
We’re inspired by the example of Christ to love and serve others.
Community
We believe in the power
of community to transform lives.

Keychange. Building caring communities.

Faith basis

• We are a Christian charity motivated by the love of Jesus to support people.

• We are made in the image of God, so each person is valued.

• We believe God made people to live in a community with positive relationships.

• We welcome people of all faiths and none in everything we do.

Mission

• We want those facing isolation to be connected and supported in a community.

• We want older people to live in a community so they have thriving lives combining independence and interdependence.

• We want young people and women who are currently homeless and have experienced trauma to find a safe place where they are supported and equipped for the next stage of life.

• We want to provide environments where people can express and develop their faith journey.

Aims

• Older people access complex care in safe and fit-for-purpose environments.

• Older people sustain independence through supportive community outreach.

• Young people grow in independence with healthy interdependent relationships.

• Women who have experienced trauma are safe and supported for their next steps in life.

All our staff are committed to the Christian values of unconditional love and support for all.

And the Keychange leadership team pray together weekly.

We hold Christian worship services in all our care homes, which anyone is welcome to join.

We support our residents to practise their faith, which includes helping them (wherever possible) get to nearby places of worship
like churches, mosques and synagogues.
