a community
At Alde House in Penn, we believe smaller is better. With just 17 residents, this means we can build meaningful relationships and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.

We welcome everyone, and invite them to bring their unique background, beliefs and values – this is what makes it a special community.
Expert care available at Alde House
Residential care
If you’re finding it hard to manage at home, even with some help, our care homes provide 24-hour support. We handle daily tasks like the laundry and cooking, which means you can focus on doing the other things you enjoy, with support on hand whenever you need it.
Short-term care
This could be following a stay in hospital, a respite break for a week or two, or even just day care. However long you’re with us, we’ll make sure we understand what makes you feel most happy and at home.
Dementia care
As a resident with us, our 24-hour specialist care team can help you navigate the challenges of living with Dementia. Our staff are highly trained, and understand how to minimise any stress and anxiety, so you feel comfortable and happy in your surroundings.
End of life care
To care for someone in their last moments is a great privilege. We work with other health professionals to make sure your loved one lives their final days in dignity and as much comfort as possible.
